Umrah group transport from Online Umrah Taxi moves families and pilgrim groups in private vans and minibuses with a driver. A Toyota Hiace seats 11 people, and a Toyota Coaster seats 17. Bigger groups book several vehicles for the same pickup time, and each vehicle has its own fixed fare. From Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel, a Hiace costs 350 SAR and a Coaster 400 SAR for the whole vehicle.
The group leader plans every ride in one WhatsApp chat. That covers King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) to Makkah, the drive to Madinah and the trip back to the airport. Send names, flight numbers and bag counts in advance. The team then matches the vehicles to your group before anyone lands.

Who Books Group Rides
A group umrah taxi is a whole vehicle booked for your party, with no strangers on board. Online Umrah Taxi charges per vehicle, not per person. Ten pilgrims in one Toyota Hiace share a single fare between them.
Extended families book group rides so grandparents, parents and children stay in one vehicle. Mosque and community groups book the same way, often with one organiser handling every detail. Travel agents and group leaders can also book rides on behalf of their pilgrims.
Online Umrah Taxi is licensed by the Saudi Transport Authority to carry pilgrims. Its drivers speak English and Arabic and know the roads between Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah and Taif. The driver helps load and unload the luggage at every pickup and drop-off.
Group-Size Planner
Start with two numbers: how many people are travelling and how many large suitcases they bring. Online Umrah Taxi then suggests the vehicle, or the mix of vehicles, that fits both. Families of up to 7 can compare the 7-seaters on the umrah taxi fleet page.
A Toyota Hiace seats 11 and carries 14 large suitcases. A mid-sized family or a small mosque group stays in one van.
The Toyota Coaster seats 17 with room for 20 large suitcases. It is the largest vehicle in the Online Umrah Taxi fleet, so bigger groups add a second vehicle.
Take a group of 28. One Coaster (17 seats, 20 bags) and one Hiace (11 seats, 14 bags) are booked for the same pickup time. From Jeddah Airport to Makkah, the Coaster is charged its 400 SAR fare and the Hiace its 350 SAR fare.
Larger groups add further vehicles for the same pickup time. Ask on WhatsApp for a mix that fits your numbers and your luggage, and the team confirms which vehicles are free for your date.
Luggage can decide the vehicle as much as the headcount does. If the bag count is higher than a vehicle takes, the team suggests a larger vehicle or an extra one.
Send rough numbers on WhatsApp before your list is final. You can change the plan on WhatsApp before the pickup time with no extra fee.
Why Groups Pre-Book
Moving 15 or 30 people through an airport and two holy cities is mostly a planning job. With pre-booked group transport, every vehicle, fare and pickup time is agreed before the trip starts.
The group leader arranges every vehicle and every leg in one WhatsApp conversation.
Each vehicle has a fixed fare, so the transport budget is clear before departure.
At the airport, the group looks for a single name sign in the arrivals hall.
Your flight is followed live, and a delayed landing costs the group nothing extra.
Drivers help load and unload suitcases and Zamzam at every pickup and drop-off.
On the long road from Makkah to Madinah, the driver stops for prayer when the group asks.

Vehicles for Groups
Each card shows the fixed Makkah hotel to Jeddah Airport fare for that whole vehicle, the ride home for groups flying out of Jeddah. Groups of 8 to 17 usually fit a Toyota Hiace or a Toyota Coaster. Smaller family groups fit one of the 7-seaters, and larger groups combine vehicles.
Groups over 17 combine vehicles, and each vehicle is charged its own fixed fare.
Group Itinerary Fares
| Vehicle | Seats | Jeddah Airport → Makkah Hotel | Makkah Hotel → Madinah Hotel | Madinah Hotel → Madinah Airport |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toyota Camry | 4 | 240 SAR | 490 SAR | 120 SAR |
| GMC Yukon XL | 7 | 320 SAR | 650 SAR | 180 SAR |
| Hyundai Staria | 7 | 290 SAR | 600 SAR | 150 SAR |
| Toyota Coaster | 17 | 400 SAR | 900 SAR | 220 SAR |
| Toyota Hiace | 11 | 350 SAR | 800 SAR | 200 SAR |
| Chevrolet Suburban | 7 | 400 SAR | 830 SAR | 230 SAR |
Every fare is in SAR for one whole vehicle on one leg. A group using two vehicles pays each vehicle's fare for that leg. Most rides need no pre-payment. Find the Coaster and Hiace fares on every route to price each leg of the group trip.

Full-Itinerary Planning
A typical group Umrah has three or four road legs, and each leg is booked as its own ride. Online Umrah Taxi plans all of them in one chat, so the group leader works from one timetable.
Leg one runs from King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) to your Makkah hotel, roughly 100 km and about 1 to 1.5 hours. A Toyota Hiace costs 350 SAR and a Toyota Coaster 400 SAR for that leg. The Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi page explains the arrival in detail.
Leg two is the Makkah to Madinah taxi ride from hotel to hotel, roughly 450 km and about 4.5 to 5 hours with stops. The Hiace fare for this leg is 800 SAR, and the Coaster fare is 900 SAR. Some groups fit a Ziyarat tour or a Meeqat trip in Makkah before this leg.
The last leg takes the group to its flight home. From a Madinah hotel to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED), the Hiace is 200 SAR and the Coaster 220 SAR. Flying out of Jeddah instead? The Madinah to Jeddah Airport taxi is 820 SAR by Hiace and 950 SAR by Coaster.
Groups that land in Madinah simply run the plan in reverse. A group using a Coaster and a Hiace pays both fares on every leg, for example 900 SAR for the Coaster plus 800 SAR for the Hiace from Makkah to Madinah. Send your group’s flight plan on WhatsApp, and the team lists each leg with its fare for your vehicles.
For Group Leaders
The group leader books everything in one WhatsApp chat on +966 56 323 2855. Share the details early, and the team confirms the vehicles, the fares and every pickup time.
Share how many people are travelling, a bag count per person, and your hotels in Makkah and Madinah.
List the passenger names, flight numbers and arrival times, especially if members land on different flights.
The team suggests a vehicle mix and confirms each vehicle's fixed fare for every leg of the trip.
The drivers greet the group in arrivals, load every bag and set off at the agreed time.

Airport Pickups & Group Leaders
At King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED), flights are tracked in real time, and there is no charge if the plane lands late. If part of the group comes in on a later flight, the team can book a separate pickup for that flight.
The group leader is the single contact for Online Umrah Taxi, from the first message to the last drop-off. One person talking to the team keeps changes clear. If a second person can speak for the group when the leader is busy, tell the team their name.
Before travel, send the full passenger list with names, flight numbers and arrival times. Add a bag count per person, and count large suitcases separately from hand luggage. For the ride home, include Zamzam and shopping, because bags often multiply during a trip.

Group Ziyarat & Meeqat
A group Ziyarat tour keeps everyone in one vehicle while you visit the historic sites. In a Toyota Hiace, the Makkah Ziyarat and the Madinah Ziyarat each cost 370 SAR. In a Toyota Coaster, each tour costs 400 SAR. At each stop the driver waits while the group visits and prays there.
Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah are Ziyarat stops only outside the Hajj days, and from 8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah Online Umrah Taxi provides no transport in the holy sites. The full stop list is on the Makkah Ziyarat taxi page.
Adding Wadi-e-Jinn to the Madinah tour costs 480 SAR by Hiace and 500 SAR by Coaster. The Madinah Ziyarat taxi page lists the stops in Madinah.
Meeqat trips for a group are return trips from the Makkah hotel, and the driver waits while everyone enters Ihram and prays. Which Meeqat applies to your group is a question for your scholar, and the Meeqat taxi Makkah page covers the options.
For background on each stop, read our guide to the Ziyarat places in Makkah and Madinah.
Street taxis and ride apps work well for small parties, and they are often available without booking. A group of 12 or more usually needs several of them, found one car at a time. A pre-booked group ride puts the whole plan in place before you land.

Group Size & Vehicles
The largest vehicle in the fleet, the Toyota Coaster, carries up to 17 people. Groups larger than 17 book several vehicles for the same pickup time, each at its own fixed fare. Send your headcount on WhatsApp and the team suggests the right mix.
Yes, several vehicles can be booked for the same pickup time and place. Each vehicle has its own driver, so the vehicles may not drive together or arrive at exactly the same moment. The plan for your group is confirmed on WhatsApp.
A Toyota Coaster suits a group of 12 to 17 that wants to stay in one vehicle, and the Toyota Coaster umrah transport page lists its seats, bags and every fare.
No, the 17-seat Toyota Coaster is the largest vehicle Online Umrah Taxi lists. Larger groups combine a Coaster with other vehicles instead of one big coach. Ask on WhatsApp for a plan that fits your numbers and your luggage.
The group fare is per vehicle, not per person. A Toyota Hiace from Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel costs 350 SAR in total, whether 6 or 11 people ride in it. Nobody in the group pays by seat, by meter or by bag.
Booking & Payment
Each vehicle is charged its own fixed fare, so the group adds the fares together. Most rides need no pre-payment: pay cash to the driver or use a secure online payment link. How payment works for your vehicles is confirmed on WhatsApp.
Yes, a travel agent, group leader or family member can book on behalf of the group. Send the passenger names, flights and hotels on WhatsApp. Online Umrah Taxi does not publish agent accounts or group billing, so ask about any paperwork you need before you book.
Yes, message Online Umrah Taxi on WhatsApp before the pickup time to change or cancel part of the booking, with no extra fee. If fewer people travel, the group might drop one vehicle or move to a smaller one. The team confirms the new plan and fares. How each vehicle in a group booking can be changed on its own is set out in our cancellation policy.
Tell the team the children's ages when you book on WhatsApp, and count every child in the group size. Saudi traffic rules require child restraints for young children and do not allow children under 10 in the front seat. The team uses the ages to plan the vehicles.
Travel Day
Yes, Online Umrah Taxi takes bookings on WhatsApp 24/7, including late-night group arrivals. The team tracks the flight, and a delayed landing costs nothing extra.
Send every flight number and arrival time in advance. The team can plan a separate pickup for each flight, each at its own vehicle fare. Or, if the group prefers to wait together, one pickup can be timed for the later flight.
Access to some hotels near Masjid al-Haram is restricted, especially for larger vehicles. Send your hotel names on WhatsApp, and the team confirms the pickup and drop-off point for each group vehicle. The drivers unload the group's bags there.
No. During Hajj, from 8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah, Online Umrah Taxi provides no transport in the holy sites. Pilgrims on Hajj travel with their licensed Hajj company. Outside the Hajj days, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah are stops on the Makkah Ziyarat tour.
If someone in your group uses a wheelchair, mention it on WhatsApp so the team can suggest a vehicle. Share it when you book, together with the group's bag count.
