Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how a ride with Online Umrah Taxi works, in plain English. You book on WhatsApp, and the fixed fare is agreed before you travel. Payment is in cash to the driver or through a secure online payment link. Most rides need no pre-payment, and you can change or cancel by WhatsApp message before your pickup time at no extra fee.

The terms below also cover airport and hotel pickups, luggage, children, tours, Meeqat trips and the Hajj days. If anything here is unclear, ask the team on WhatsApp before you book, and they will explain it.

Booking, Fares and Payment

1. About these terms

Online Umrah Taxi is a licensed pilgrim transportation company in Saudi Arabia, licensed by the Saudi Transport Authority. The company's office is in the Al Utaybiyyah district of Makkah.

These terms apply to every ride you book with Online Umrah Taxi. That includes bookings made through this website, on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking

A booking is confirmed on WhatsApp. The team sends the confirmation to the number you give, so please check that it is correct.

Please give accurate details when you book. The team needs them to send the right vehicle to the right place at the right time.

  • The pickup and drop-off address, date and time
  • Your flight number or train details, if we are collecting you from an airport or station
  • The number of passengers, including children
  • The number of bags, including Zamzam containers and shopping

You can book a ride for a family member or friend. If you do, please share these terms with them, because they apply to the traveller too.

3. Fares and payment

Online Umrah Taxi fares are fixed per vehicle, not per person. There is no meter, no hidden charge and no bargaining on the day.

The fare for your ride is agreed before you travel. Where the site shows no published fare for a route, the team quotes a fixed fare on WhatsApp.

Most rides need no pre-payment. You can pay the driver in cash, or pay through a secure online payment link that the team sends you.

If you change the route or add a stop, the new fixed fare is confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel. Nothing is added to the fare without your agreement.

4. Changes and cancellations

Changing or cancelling a ride costs nothing if your WhatsApp message arrives before the pickup time. When a change moves the route or swaps the vehicle, the team confirms the new fixed fare on WhatsApp before the ride.

Our cancellation policy has the full rules. It also covers refunds for online payments and late flights or trains.

Pickups & Luggage

Pickups, Waiting and Luggage

5. Airport pickups

For airport pickups, the driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and helps with your luggage. Online Umrah Taxi tracks your flight in real time, and there is no charge if the flight is delayed.

Please share the correct flight number when you book, because flight tracking depends on it. The waiting time after landing is confirmed on WhatsApp when you book. How delayed flights and late trains are handled is explained in our cancellation policy.

6. Pickups and waiting

The waiting time for a hotel or other pickup is confirmed on WhatsApp when you book. If you are running late, message the team straight away.

Some hotels near Masjid al-Haram have restricted vehicle access. Where that applies, the exact pickup or drop-off point is confirmed on WhatsApp.

Please keep your phone switched on around your pickup time. The driver or the team may message or call you to find you.

7. Luggage

Online Umrah Taxi drivers help load and unload your luggage at every pickup and drop-off. That includes hotels, airports and train stations.

Each vehicle has a set number of seats and room for a set number of large suitcases. You can compare them on our Umrah taxi fleet page.

Please tell the team your real bag count when you book. If your luggage does not fit the vehicle you booked, the team will suggest a larger vehicle and tell you its fare.

Safety & Conduct

Children, Safety and Conduct in the Vehicle

8. Children and safety

Everyone in the vehicle is asked to wear a seatbelt. This applies to the driver and to every passenger.

Saudi traffic rules generally require child restraints for young children. They also do not allow children under 10 to sit in the front seat. The driver follows these rules and may ask a child to move to the back.

Please ask about child seats on WhatsApp when you book, and give the children's ages. The team will confirm what is possible for your ride.

9. Accessibility

If someone in your group uses a wheelchair or has limited mobility, mention it on WhatsApp when you book. The team can then suggest a vehicle that suits your group.

10. In the vehicle

  • Please don't smoke in the vehicle.
  • Please treat the driver, other passengers and the vehicle with respect.
  • The driver may decline to carry illegal or dangerous items.
  • Prayer stops are available on request. Ask the driver during the journey or mention it when you book.

Tours, Meeqat & Hajj

Tours, Meeqat Trips and the Hajj Days

11. Tours and Meeqat trips

On a Ziyarat tour, the driver waits at each stop while you visit and pray. The Makkah stops and the usual tour length are described on the Makkah Ziyarat taxi page.

The Masjid Ayesha (Tan'eem) and Masjid Jirana fares are return trips. The driver waits while you enter Ihram and pray, then drives you back to Masjid al-Haram or to your hotel. More detail is on the Meeqat taxi from Makkah page.

For a Taif & Return trip, the day plan and the waiting time in Taif are agreed on WhatsApp before pickup.

Questions about Ihram and Meeqat rulings are for your scholar or group leader. The driver's role is to get you there safely and wait for you.

12. The Hajj days

Online Umrah Taxi does not offer rides into Mina, Arafat or Muzdalifah during the Hajj days, 8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah. Only authorised vehicles may enter the holy sites at that time.

Pilgrims travel to the holy sites during Hajj with their licensed Hajj company. Outside the Hajj days, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah can be visited as stops on a Makkah Ziyarat tour.

13. Journey times

Traffic, checkpoints, road closures and weather can change journey times, and times on this site are approximate.

If you have a tight connection, please mention it when you book so the team can plan the pickup time with you.

Other Terms

Lost Items, Complaints and Other Terms

14. Lost items

If you leave something in the vehicle, message the team on WhatsApp with your ride date and route. The team will check with the driver and let you know.

15. Your data

Online Umrah Taxi uses your details to arrange and run your ride. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.

16. Law

These terms follow the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nothing here limits rights you have under Saudi law.

17. Complaints and contact

If something goes wrong, please tell us first. Send a WhatsApp message or an email with your name, the ride date and the route, and describe what happened.

Our contact details are in the contact section at the bottom of this page.

18. Changes to these terms

Online Umrah Taxi may update these terms from time to time. The new version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Changes apply to new bookings. A ride you have already booked follows the terms that applied when you booked it.
