Toyota Hiace Umrah Taxi: One Van for Up to 11 Pilgrims

With a Toyota Hiace umrah taxi, 11 pilgrims and 14 large suitcases travel in one van with one driver. The fixed fare is 350 SAR from King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) to your Makkah hotel, and 800 SAR from Makkah to Madinah. You pay for the whole van, not per person.

A Hiace suits groups of 8 to 11: extended families, friends travelling together and small mosque groups. Everyone rides with one driver from one pickup point. The driver helps load and unload the bags, and prayer stops are made on request.

Who Rides in a Hiace

The Hiace Umrah Van: 11 Seats and 14 Large Suitcases

The Toyota Hiace is the 11-seat passenger van in the Online Umrah Taxi fleet. The Hiace umrah van is the step up from a 7-seater when your group has between 8 and 11 people.

The Hiace suits families travelling together across generations. Grandparents, parents, children and cousins often share one Umrah trip. Small mosque and community groups, and friends who fly in on the same flight, fit well too.

The Toyota HiAce is a light commercial van that Toyota has made since 1967, with passenger versions built in many seat layouts. A sliding side door is a typical Hiace feature, which helps when several people climb in with bags. Online Umrah Taxi runs its Hiace as an 11-seat passenger van with a driver.

Eleven people need a cool cabin, so the Hiace is air-conditioned and cleaned before every trip. The group gets free Wi-Fi, bottled water and refreshments, and the driver speaks English and Arabic.

Where the Hiace Fits

Six Trips Where Ten or Eleven Ride as One

A Hiace umrah taxi makes the most sense when your group is too big for one car but too small for a minibus. These are the trips where a group of 8 to 11 gains most from riding together.

Ten Landing on One Flight

Ten family members landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) meet one driver with a name sign. The Hiace to a Makkah hotel is 350 SAR for the whole van.

The Drive North, All Together

The drive between the holy cities is roughly 450 km. The Hiace fare is 800 SAR, and the group can stop to pray on the way.

Grandparents on the Ziyarat

The Makkah Ziyarat in a Hiace costs 370 SAR for up to 11 people. The driver waits at each stop while the group visits and prays.

A Second Umrah as a Family

The Masjid Ayesha trip is a 200 SAR return trip in a Hiace. The driver waits while the group enters Ihram and prays, then drives back.

Flying Home as One Group

From a Makkah hotel to Jeddah Airport, the Hiace costs 340 SAR. The group and every suitcase leave the hotel in one load.

Cousins' Day Out in Taif

The Makkah to Taif and return trip is 650 SAR in a Hiace. The day plan and waiting time are agreed on WhatsApp before pickup.

Why Groups Pick the Hiace

Why 8 to 11 Pilgrims Book One Van

The biggest gain of one Hiace is simple: nobody gets left behind. One vehicle means one driver, one meeting point and one fare agreed before you travel.

One Group, One Vehicle

Up to 11 people ride together, so no one waits alone for a second car.

Room for Group Luggage

The Hiace carries more large suitcases than a Camry and a Staria together.

One Driver to Contact

The group leader deals with one driver and one WhatsApp chat.

Fare Per Van, Not Per Head

The fixed Hiace fare covers everyone on board, with no meter.

Bags for Eleven

The driver helps load and unload at every pickup and drop-off.

Stops When You Need Them

Ask for a prayer stop on long drives, such as Makkah to Madinah.

Hiace Fares

Toyota Hiace Fares for the Whole Van

Fares are in SAR for the whole Toyota Hiace with a driver, for up to 11 passengers. Masjid Ayesha and Masjid Jirana fares are return trips. Most rides need no pre-payment: pay cash to the driver or use a secure payment link. See how the Hiace compares on price with the Coaster and the 7-seaters.

Other Sizes in the Fleet

Hiace or Another Vehicle? Match Your Group Size

The Toyota Hiace covers groups of 8 to 11. Fewer people fit a Camry or a 7-seater, and groups of 12 to 17 move up to the Toyota Coaster. See the full umrah taxi fleet for every model side by side.

Booking a Hiace

How a Group Leader Books the Hiace

One person, usually the group leader, books the Hiace for everyone on WhatsApp. Online Umrah Taxi then confirms the van, the fixed fare and where to meet.

Collect the Headcount

Tell us how many adults and children are travelling, and the real number of large suitcases.

Send Route and Flight

Send the route, date and time, with the flight number for airport pickups.

Agree the Meeting Point

The team confirms the Hiace fare and the pickup point, especially near the Haram.

Load Up and Leave Together

Your driver meets the group, loads the luggage and drives everyone in one van.

Group Luggage

Group Luggage in the Hiace: What Fits and What to Tell Us

With every seat in use, the Hiace’s suitcase space works out to a little more than one large bag per person. Hand luggage, such as backpacks and small cabin bags, comes on top of that figure.

Groups often pack more on the way home than on arrival. Dates, gifts and Zamzam add weight and bulk during a stay in Makkah and Madinah. So when you book the return to the airport, send the real bag count, not the count you arrived with.

Count Zamzam and shopping in your bag total, and check your airline’s Zamzam rules, because they vary.

If your bags will not fit, tell the team early. They can suggest the larger Toyota Coaster, or a second vehicle for the luggage and some passengers. The team quotes a separate fixed fare for each vehicle.

Group Ziyarat

A Group Ziyarat in One Hiace

A Ziyarat tour in a Hiace lets up to 11 people visit the historic sites together. The Makkah Ziyarat is 370 SAR for the whole van. The Madinah Ziyarat is also 370 SAR, or 480 SAR with Wadi-e-Jinn.

The Makkah Ziyarat taxi visits Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina only outside the Hajj days, because Online Umrah Taxi does not drive inside the holy sites during Hajj.

On the Madinah Ziyarat taxi, the driver waits at each stop, such as Masjid Quba and Mount Uhud, while the group visits and prays.

One Hiace or a Camry Plus a Staria?

Both options move 11 people from Jeddah Airport to Makkah. Two cars give each family its own space and the freedom to travel at different times. One Hiace keeps the whole group together with more room for suitcases.

Hiace or Coaster?

Hiace or Coaster: Up to 11, or 12 to 17

The Toyota Hiace suits groups of up to 11 people, and the Toyota Coaster suits groups of 12 to 17. The Coaster is a 17-seat minibus with room for 20 large suitcases. If your group is 11 people with more than 14 large suitcases, the Coaster may suit you better.

From Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel, the Hiace is 350 SAR and the Coaster is 400 SAR. On the Makkah to Madinah road, the Hiace is 800 SAR and the Coaster is 900 SAR. See the Toyota Coaster umrah transport page for its seats, bags and full fare list.

The Hiace costs less than the Coaster on every route in the Online Umrah Taxi fare list, and a group of 8 to 11 fills it without empty rows. The Coaster gives a group of 11 six spare seats and six more suitcase spaces for a heavy trip home.

For more than 17 people, groups combine vehicles, for example a Coaster plus a Hiace, booked for the same pickup time through one WhatsApp contact. The Coaster and the Hiace each keep their own fixed fare. Planning for large groups is covered on the umrah group transport page.

Popular Hiace Routes

Where Groups Ride in the Hiace

Many groups start at King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED). The Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to your hotel.

If your group moves on to Madinah, the Makkah to Madinah taxi runs roughly 450 km, about 4.5 to 5 hours with stops.

Families of 7 or fewer rarely need a van. The Hyundai Staria umrah taxi seats 7 with 8 bags.

Is part of your group travelling light? The Camry umrah taxi seats 4 with 3 bags.

We booked our Coaster for a group of 15 pilgrims. Clean, comfortable, and arrived on time after Fajr. Great coordination through WhatsApp.

Seats, Bags & Fares

Toyota Hiace Seats, Bags and Fares FAQs

The Toyota Hiace from Online Umrah Taxi seats 11 passengers and carries 14 large suitcases. Hand luggage is extra, so send the real bag count when you book. If the bags will not fit, the team suggests a larger vehicle or a second one.

For 11 people with up to 14 large suitcases, one Hiace fits and costs less, for example 350 SAR against 400 SAR from Jeddah Airport to Makkah. If the group carries more bags than that, the 17-seat Toyota Coaster has room for 20. Send your bag count on WhatsApp and the team suggests the size.

The Toyota Hiace from a Makkah hotel to a Madinah hotel costs 800 SAR for the whole van. The fare is the same in the other direction. The trip is roughly 450 km and takes about 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on traffic and stops.

The Hiace fare is per van, not per person. Eleven people pay the same fixed fare as eight. There is no meter and no bargaining, and the price is confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel.

The Haramain High-Speed Railway is fast and comfortable, but its baggage allowance is limited, so groups with many suitcases often prefer one Hiace from hotel door to hotel door. The Makkah to Madinah taxi page compares the train and the road in full.

On the Day

Riding in the Hiace: Pickups, Stops and Families

Usually, yes. The Hiace stops at your hotel entrance wherever vans may drive. Some streets near Masjid al-Haram close to vehicles at busy times, so the team agrees the pickup point on WhatsApp first, and the driver carries the bags from there.

Yes, prayer stops are made on request. Ask the driver when a prayer time is near, especially on long drives such as Makkah to Madinah. You can also mention it on WhatsApp when you book.

Yes, the Hiace meets groups at all JED terminals, such as Terminal 1 and the North Terminal. The driver waits in arrivals with a name sign and helps with the luggage. Flight tracking is included, and there is no charge if your flight is delayed.

Tell us the children's ages when you book on WhatsApp. Under Saudi traffic rules, young children need a child restraint, and children under 10 may not ride in the front seat. The team can then plan the seating with you.

Mention it on WhatsApp when you book, so the team can suggest a vehicle. Say whether the wheelchair folds and how many large suitcases the group has. The driver helps with the luggage at pickup and drop-off.

Yes, the Hiace goes to Masjid Ayesha for 200 SAR and Masjid Jirana for 220 SAR, both as return trips. The driver waits while the group enters Ihram and prays, then drives back to Masjid al-Haram or your hotel. Ask your scholar which Meeqat applies to you.

Yes. Send the change on WhatsApp any time before pickup, whether it is a new flight time or a smaller headcount, and it costs nothing extra. Most rides need no pre-payment, so you pay the driver in cash or by a secure payment link.
