Online Umrah Taxi
Travelling as a family
Family friendlyFour people together
The Makkah Ziyarat taxi costs 200 SAR per vehicle in a Toyota Camry. For that fare, your group gets a private tour from your Makkah hotel and back, usually around 3 hours. Nobody else shares the car, and you confirm the exact timing when you book.
Typical stops are Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, Arafat, Muzdalifah, Mina, Jannat al-Mu’alla and Masjid al-Jinn. Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina are visited only outside the Hajj days. Your driver speaks English and Arabic and knows the roads between the sites. Message +966 56 323 2855 on WhatsApp at any hour to book.
About the Makkah Ziyarat Tour
A Makkah Ziyarat tour is a drive to historic places linked to the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and to the Hajj. Online Umrah Taxi runs it as a private tour that starts and ends at your Makkah hotel. The Ziyarat fare is fixed for the whole vehicle, not per person. Four passengers in a Toyota Camry pay 200 SAR between them.
Your driver collects you at the hotel door or at an agreed meeting point near the Haram. The route links the main Ziyarat places in and around Makkah in one planned loop. At each place, your driver waits while you take your time and make du’a. At the end, you are dropped back at your hotel.
Ziyarat is not a rite of Umrah, so your Umrah is complete without this tour. If you are unsure what is fitting at a site, please ask your scholar or group leader.
The Ziyarat tour is one of several trips you can take from your hotel. For everyday rides to the Haram, hotel moves and station runs, see the Makkah taxi page.

Ziyarat Places in Makkah
A standard Makkah Ziyarat covers the main historic places in the city and in the Hajj valleys east of it, from Jabal al-Nour to Masjid al-Jinn. Here is a short note on each place and what you can do there. For a wider list covering both holy cities, read our guide to Ziyarat places in Makkah and Madinah.
Jabal al-Nour is the mountain that holds the Cave of Hira. The first verses of the Qur’an were revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in this cave. Your tour stops at the foot of the mountain for photos and quiet reflection. Climbing to the cave is not part of the standard tour.
Jabal Thawr is a mountain on the south side of Makkah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sheltered in the Cave of Thawr during the Hijrah. You see Jabal Thawr from its foot, and the climb is not included.
Arafat is the plain where Hajj pilgrims stand on the Day of Arafah. Jabal al-Rahmah, the Mount of Mercy, is a low hill in Arafat. Outside the Hajj days, you can usually walk to the foot of the hill. Masjid Namirah, on the edge of Arafat, is seen from outside.
Muzdalifah lies between Arafat and Mina. Hajj pilgrims spend the night here after the Day of Arafah, and many gather small pebbles here for the Jamarat. Your driver usually points out Masjid al-Mash’ar al-Haram from the road.
Mina is the valley of white tents where pilgrims stay during Hajj. The Jamarat, three stone structures now built as long walls inside a multi-level building, are where Hajj pilgrims perform the stoning. Masjid al-Khayf is the historic mosque of Mina. Outside Hajj, you view Mina from the car or on a short walk.
Jannat al-Mu’alla is the old cemetery of Makkah, where Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) is buried. By tradition, nearby Masjid al-Jinn marks where a group of jinn listened to the Prophet (peace be upon him) reciting the Qur’an. Both places are a short drive from Masjid al-Haram, so they often come at the end of the tour.
Why a Private Ziyarat
A private Ziyarat taxi lets your family see the holy sites at its own pace. Online Umrah Taxi holds a Saudi Transport Authority licence for carrying pilgrims. The Ziyarat fare is agreed on WhatsApp before the day, so there is nothing to bargain over at the hotel door.
The Makkah Ziyarat fare is set per vehicle. A Toyota Camry costs 200 SAR for up to 4 passengers, with no meter and no hidden charges.
Your Ziyarat begins at your Makkah hotel or an agreed point nearby. The tour finishes back at the same place.
Online Umrah Taxi drivers understand the pilgrimage routes around Makkah. They speak English and Arabic and point out each site as you arrive.
Prayer stops are available on request during the tour. The team can also set your pickup so you are back for the next prayer.
Each vehicle is air-conditioned and cleaned before every trip. Bottled water and free Wi-Fi help on a hot Makkah morning.
To move or cancel your Ziyarat, message the team on WhatsApp before the pickup time. There is no extra fee for the change.

Cars for a Makkah Tour
Pick the vehicle by the size of your group. A Toyota Camry seats 4 passengers for 200 SAR. The Hyundai Staria, GMC Yukon XL and Chevrolet Suburban each seat 7. The Toyota Hiace seats 11, and the Toyota Coaster seats 17 for a full Umrah group. Our umrah taxi fleet page compares every model in more detail.
Makkah Ziyarat fares are per vehicle and cover the tour from your hotel and back.
How to Book
Booking a Makkah Ziyarat takes a few WhatsApp messages. You share your hotel, date and group size. Online Umrah Taxi confirms the fare, the vehicle and the pickup time before the day.
Message +966 56 323 2855 with your Makkah hotel, preferred date and time, and the number of passengers.
The team replies with the fixed fare for your vehicle, from 200 SAR in a Toyota Camry, and the expected tour length.
You confirm the booking, and the team names the pickup point at your hotel or near the Haram.
Your driver arrives at the agreed time and takes you round the stops. You pay in cash or by a secure online link.
Route and Timing
A Makkah Ziyarat tour usually takes around 3 hours from pickup to drop-off. Traffic, crowds and the time you spend at each place can change that. The team confirms the expected length of your tour when you book.
A common route runs as a loop from your hotel. One possible order starts at Jabal Thawr, south of the city, then heads east to Arafat. From Arafat, the road leads back through Muzdalifah and Mina towards Makkah. The tour then passes Jabal al-Nour, Jannat al-Mu’alla and Masjid al-Jinn before your drop-off. Your driver may change the order to avoid traffic.
Early morning is the most comfortable time for a Ziyarat in Makkah. A pickup soon after Fajr avoids the strongest heat of the day. In summer, the midday sun is intense, and some stops have little shade. A late-afternoon tour is another cooler choice.
Plan the tour around the prayer times at Masjid al-Haram. Pilgrims often want to be back at the Haram for the next congregational prayer. Share that wish when you book, and the team suggests a pickup time that fits. On a Friday, a morning tour that ends well before Jumu’ah is a sensible choice.
In Ramadan and the busy Umrah months, roads near the Haram fill up quickly. Book a few days ahead if you can, and allow extra time for traffic on the way back.
Families and Elderly Visitors
A private Ziyarat taxi suits families with elderly parents, because most stops need little or no walking. You can see Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, Muzdalifah and Mina from the car or from a few steps away. At each stop, you decide who gets out and who stays in the cool car.
Tell the team about any walking difficulty when you book. If you bring a folding wheelchair, mention it on WhatsApp, and the team suggests a vehicle with room for it. Your driver helps lift bags in and out of the vehicle, and can help with the wheelchair too.
Heat is the main concern on a Makkah Ziyarat for older pilgrims and young children. Choose an early pickup, bring hats and comfortable shoes, and drink water between stops. Each Online Umrah Taxi vehicle is air-conditioned and carries bottled water.
Families with small children can ask about a child seat on WhatsApp before the day. A larger family often fits in one Toyota Hiace, which seats 11 passengers. One vehicle keeps everyone together at busy sites like Arafat.
You can book a Ziyarat tour for parents staying in a different hotel. Send their hotel name, phone number and pickup time, and the team checks the plan with you.
Mountains and Old Makkah
At Jabal al-Nour, the car stops at the foot of the mountain. You only need a few steps from the car to look up at the peak and take photos. Climbing to the Cave of Hira is not part of the standard Makkah Ziyarat. The path is steep and rocky, so ask on WhatsApp before you book if you hope to climb.
At Jabal Thawr, the tour stops near the foot of the mountain, and the climb to the Cave of Thawr is not included. Most families stay close to the car here, and older relatives can see the mountain without getting out.
Jannat al-Mu’alla lies close to Masjid al-Haram. Access to the cemetery can vary, so many pilgrims offer a greeting and make du’a from the gate. If Masjid al-Jinn is open when you pass, you can pray inside while your driver waits nearby.
The Ziyarat fare covers the drive, the stops on the route and the waiting time at each one. The climbs to the two caves are not included. Your driver points out each place, and questions about what is fitting at a site are best taken to your scholar.
For the history of each place, read our guide to Ziyarat places in Makkah and Madinah.
Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina
Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina are part of the Makkah Ziyarat only outside the Hajj days. During Hajj, from 8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah, Online Umrah Taxi does not drive inside these holy sites. Hajj pilgrims travel there with their licensed Hajj company and the Mashair train. Unauthorised vehicles are banned from the holy sites at that time, and heavy penalties apply.
At Arafat, a short walk from the car usually brings you to the foot of Jabal al-Rahmah. Masjid Namirah is viewed from outside and is not entered on the tour. No rite of Umrah takes place at Arafat, so ask your scholar what is fitting there.
In Muzdalifah, the open ground is mostly seen from the road, and your driver points out Masjid al-Mash’ar al-Haram as you pass. In Mina, the tents stand empty outside Hajj. Your driver can stop near the Jamarat building and Masjid al-Khayf where parking allows.
Access around the holy sites can change in the weeks around Hajj. If you book close to the Hajj season, the team confirms on WhatsApp which stops are open.
Group bus tours and street taxis both take pilgrims to the Ziyarat places around Makkah. Each suits a different kind of traveller. This table shows what each option does well, so you can choose what fits your group.

Holy Places Beyond the Tour
These six places are not stops on the standard Makkah Ziyarat route, but pilgrims often plan them around it. Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Ayesha are in Makkah. The other four are in Madinah, where a separate Ziyarat covers them.

Your Makkah Ziyarat starts and ends close to Masjid al-Haram. You can time the tour so you are back for the next prayer.

Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah is roughly 450 km from Makkah by road. Pilgrims who travel on to Madinah can plan a second Ziyarat there.

Masjid Quba is the first stop on many Ziyarat tours in Madinah. The Madinah Ziyarat taxi is a separate tour from 200 SAR that covers Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain and Mount Uhud.

By tradition, Masjid al-Qiblatain is the mosque where the direction of prayer changed towards the Ka’bah. It belongs to a Madinah Ziyarat, not the Makkah tour.

Mount Uhud, site of the Battle of Uhud, stands north of Madinah. The Uhud martyrs’ cemetery lies at its foot, on the Madinah Ziyarat route.

Masjid Ayesha in Tan’eem is a Meeqat roughly 7 to 8 km from Masjid al-Haram. The Masjid Ayesha Meeqat taxi is a separate return trip from 100 SAR for pilgrims entering Ihram for another Umrah.

At the Holy Sites

Masjid Jirana is booked as its own Meeqat trip, not as a Ziyarat stop. The return trip from your Makkah hotel starts at 120 SAR in a Toyota Camry, and the Meeqat taxi Makkah page explains it. The team can suggest a pickup time on WhatsApp if you plan both trips close together. Please refer Ihram questions to your scholar or group leader.
