Online Umrah Taxi
Privacy Policy
Online Umrah Taxi collects the details needed to arrange your ride: who is travelling, how to reach you, where and when to pick you up, and your flight number for airport pickups. The booking team and your assigned driver use these details to run your trip. You can ask to see or correct them, or ask us to delete them once they are no longer needed for your booking or our legal duties.
This page explains what we collect and how, why we use it, who sees it and how long we keep it. It also covers your rights under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law and how to use them. If anything here is unclear, message us on WhatsApp.

Who We Are & What We Collect
The Details We Need to Arrange Your Ride
1. Who we are
Online Umrah Taxi is a pilgrim transportation company in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, licensed by the Saudi Transport Authority. Online Umrah Taxi decides how the personal data on this website and in our booking chats is used.
Our office address, WhatsApp number and email are in the contact section at the end of this page. WhatsApp is answered 24/7.
2. What the booking form asks for
On the online booking form, two fields are required: your email address and your phone number. The team uses them to reply to your request and reach you on the day.
Every other field on the form is optional:
- the traveller's name (or the lead passenger's name for a group)
- the pickup point and drop-off point
- the pickup date and time
- the number of passengers
- the vehicle type and trip type you prefer
- your flight number
- a message with anything else you want to tell us
3. What the team needs to arrange your ride
Even when a field is optional on the form, the team still needs some details before a ride can go ahead:
- the pickup point and drop-off point
- the pickup date and time
- the number of passengers
- your flight number for an airport pickup, so the team can track your flight
If you leave any of these out, the team asks for them on WhatsApp. If you book on WhatsApp or by phone instead of the form, a phone or WhatsApp number is enough to reach you.
4. Details you can choose to add
These details help the team plan a smoother trip:
- the number of bags
- the children's ages, so the team can plan the vehicle and seating
- a note that someone uses a wheelchair, used only to suggest a suitable vehicle
- anything else you type in the form or chat
5. Files you send in a chat
Some pilgrims send a hotel voucher or a ticket on WhatsApp. Please send only what the team asks for to arrange your ride. If you have sent a file that isn't needed, you can ask us to delete it.
How & Why
How We Collect Your Details and Why We Use Them
6. How we collect your details
Most of what we hold comes straight from you. We receive or collect details through these channels:
- the booking form on this website, which stores your entries and usually emails them to our team
- WhatsApp chats and calls with the booking team
- emails and phone calls
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks form submissions for spam using signals from your device and browser
- the standard server logs kept by our website host, such as your IP address and browser type
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this website. We don't build profiles of visitors or show you adverts based on your visit.
7. Why we use your details
Each use of your details has a clear purpose and a basis under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law:
- To run your ride under our agreement with you: confirming the booking, assigning a driver, tracking your flight, meet & greet in arrivals, taking payment, and handling changes or cancellations
- To keep the website safe: the spam check on the form and the host's server logs protect the site from abuse
- To answer you: replying to questions, requests and complaints
- To meet legal duties: keeping records that Saudi law requires, such as accounting records
- With your consent: anything outside these purposes, which you can withdraw at any time
8. Booking for someone else
You can book a ride for a parent, relative or friend. When you do, you are sharing that person's details with Online Umrah Taxi. Please tell them you are doing so, and point them to this page so they know how their details are used.
Group leaders who send a passenger list should share what the ride needs: names, a contact number, flight numbers and bag counts.
Sharing, Storage & Security
Who Sees Your Details and How Long We Keep Them
9. Who we share your details with
Your details are shared with the people and services that need them to run your ride:
- Your assigned driver receives the passenger name, contact number, pickup and drop-off, time and flight number
- The Online Umrah Taxi booking team sees your booking so it can confirm, change or support your trip
- The payment provider processes your payment if you use a secure online payment link. If you pay cash to the driver, it is not involved
- Service providers that run our website, the spam check on our form (Google reCAPTCHA), our email and WhatsApp
- Saudi authorities, when Saudi law requires us to share details with them
10. Details stored outside Saudi Arabia
Our website host and some tools we use may store or process data outside Saudi Arabia to provide the service. These include the Google reCAPTCHA spam check on our form, WhatsApp (run by Meta), our email provider and, if you pay by online link, the payment provider. We use them to run the website, check for spam, take payment and talk to you about your ride.
11. How long we keep your details
We keep your details as long as needed to run your ride and handle any questions or complaints about it. We also keep what we need to meet legal and accounting duties. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete your details once they are no longer needed for your booking or our legal duties, as explained below.
12. How we protect your details
This website uses HTTPS, so the booking form is sent over an encrypted connection. Within Online Umrah Taxi, access to your booking is limited to the team members and the driver who run your ride. If you think your details have been misused, tell us straight away on WhatsApp or by email.
Your Rights
Your Rights Over Your Personal Data
13. What you can ask for
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law gives you rights over the details Online Umrah Taxi holds about you. They include:
- To be informed: to know what we collect, why, and who sees it (this page)
- Access: to see the details we hold about you and get a copy
- Correction: to fix details that are wrong, incomplete or out of date
- Deletion: to ask us to delete your details once they are no longer needed for your booking or our legal duties
- Withdrawing consent: to stop anything we do only because you agreed to it
14. How to use your rights
Send us a WhatsApp message or an email (the details are in the contact section below). Tell us what you want to see, correct or delete. Include the name and phone number used for the booking so the team can find it.
We may ask you to confirm who you are before we share or change anything. This protects you from someone else asking about your trip. We reply within 30 days, and if we ever need longer, we will tell you why.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handled your details, please contact us first on WhatsApp or by email. The team will look into it. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). SDAIA oversees personal data protection in Saudi Arabia.
Cookies, Children & Updates

16. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The spam check on the booking form and basic site functions may use essential cookies so the site works and stays secure. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the booking form may then not work.
17. Children
Parents or guardians book rides for children. The team asks for the children's ages so it can plan the vehicle and seating. Ask about child seats on WhatsApp and give the children's ages.
18. Changes to this page
We update this page when our services or the tools we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to bookings made after that date. The rules for your ride itself are in our terms and conditions.
If you want to change or cancel a ride, see our cancellation policy.

Common Questions About Your Booking Data
Online Umrah Taxi uses your flight number to track your flight, so a delayed landing is covered with no charge. Your driver sees it so they wait in the right arrivals area. If your flight is cancelled or rescheduled, send the new flight details on WhatsApp before the original pickup time.
Your chat is handled by the Online Umrah Taxi booking team. The driver gets the trip details needed on the day, such as your name, number, pickup and time. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta, so the chat also passes through Meta's service.
Yes, send a WhatsApp message or an email asking us to delete your details once they are no longer needed for your booking or our legal duties, such as accounting records. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, and we reply within 30 days.
Yes, booking for parents or friends is welcome. Please tell them you have shared their details with Online Umrah Taxi and show them this page. Give the driver a number that works for them on the day.
On the online form, yes. Email and phone are the two required fields, so the team can reply to your request. If you book on WhatsApp, a phone or WhatsApp number is enough, because the booking is confirmed on WhatsApp.
That's fine, because only email and phone are required on the form. The team still needs your pickup, drop-off, date, time and number of passengers to arrange the ride, so it will ask for anything missing on WhatsApp.
No, this website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The automatic checks are the Google reCAPTCHA spam check on the booking form and our host's standard server logs. These keep the site safe from spam and abuse.
Contact Online Umrah Taxi first on WhatsApp or by email. If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). SDAIA oversees personal data protection in Saudi Arabia.
