Umrah Taxi Fleet: Six Vehicles, 4 to 17 Seats

The Online Umrah Taxi fleet has six vehicle types, from a 4-seat Toyota Camry to a 17-seat Toyota Coaster. Fixed fares from Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel run from 240 SAR in the Toyota Camry to 400 SAR in the Toyota Coaster. You choose by the number of people and large suitcases in your group, and each fare covers the whole vehicle, not one seat.

Couples usually fit a Toyota Camry, and families of 5 to 7 pick a 7 seater umrah taxi such as the Hyundai Staria. Groups of 8 to 11 ride in a Toyota Hiace, and groups of 12 to 17 in a Toyota Coaster. Not sure which size you need? Send your headcount and bag count to +966 56 323 2855 on WhatsApp.

Which Vehicle for My Group?

Pick Your Vehicle by Group Size

Start with the number of people travelling, children included. Then check your large suitcases against the bag column above, because luggage sometimes moves a group up one size.

1 to 4 People: Toyota Camry

A Toyota Camry seats 4 passengers and takes 3 large suitcases. It suits couples, solo pilgrims and small families who pack light. See the Camry umrah taxi page.

5 to 7 People: Staria, GMC or Suburban

Three vehicles in the fleet seat 7 passengers with 8 large suitcases each. The Hyundai Staria has the lowest fare of the three. The GMC Yukon XL and Chevrolet Suburban are the VIP SUVs.

8 to 11 People: Toyota Hiace

A Toyota Hiace seats 11 passengers and carries 14 large suitcases. Two families on the same trip can often share one van. Details are on the Toyota Hiace umrah taxi page.

12 to 17 People: Toyota Coaster

The Toyota Coaster is the largest vehicle in the fleet, with 17 seats and space for 20 large suitcases. Read the Toyota Coaster umrah transport page.

More Than 17: Several Vehicles

Bigger groups book two or more vehicles for the same pickup time, such as a Coaster plus a Hiace. Plan it on the umrah group transport page.

VIP Trips: Hyundai Palisade

The Hyundai Palisade is also available for VIP trips. Its seats, bag space and fares are not listed on this page, so ask on WhatsApp before you book.

Choosing a 7-Seater

Three 7-Seaters: Staria, GMC or Suburban?

The three 7-seaters in the fleet offer the same seats and bag space at three different prices. The difference is the style of vehicle: a passenger van or a full-size VIP SUV.

The Hyundai Staria is a passenger van with 7 seats, space for 8 large suitcases and a sliding side door. The Staria is the lower-priced 7-seater, at 290 SAR from Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel. See the Hyundai Staria umrah taxi page.

The GMC Yukon XL is a full-size SUV booked as a VIP family option. Its Jeddah Airport to Makkah fare is 320 SAR. The GMC Yukon umrah taxi page sets it beside the Suburban.

The Chevrolet Suburban is the twin of the GMC Yukon XL, with the same cabin space. The Suburban is the second VIP SUV, at 400 SAR from Jeddah Airport to Makkah. Its routes are on the Chevrolet Suburban umrah taxi page.

Toyota Coaster in the Online Umrah Taxi fleet, 17 passenger seats

Van and Minibus

A Van and a Minibus for Bigger Families and Groups

The Toyota Hiace is an 11-seat van with room for 14 large suitcases. From Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel, the Hiace costs 350 SAR for the whole van. For a group of 8 to 11, one Hiace usually costs less than two separate 7-seaters on the same trip.

The Toyota Coaster is a single-deck minibus with 17 seats and space for 20 large suitcases. The Coaster fare from Jeddah Airport to Makkah is 400 SAR. Coaster seat layouts vary between models, so these figures describe the Coaster in the Online Umrah Taxi fleet.

Groups of more than 17 combine vehicles, such as a Toyota Coaster with a Toyota Hiace, each at its own fixed fare. The umrah group transport page covers the planning.

The van and the minibus also run Ziyarat tours for families and groups. A Makkah Ziyarat taxi costs 370 SAR in a Hiace and 400 SAR in a Coaster. The driver waits at each stop while your group visits and prays.

In Every Vehicle

What Every Vehicle in the Fleet Includes

The Camry and the Coaster differ in size, not in the basics. Each vehicle in the Online Umrah Taxi fleet comes with the same on-board care and the same help from the driver.

Air-Conditioning

Every vehicle in the fleet is air-conditioned. That matters on the long desert roads between Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah.

Cleaned Before Each Trip

Each vehicle is cleaned before every trip. The seats and floor are ready for your family when the driver arrives.

Free Wi-Fi on Board

Free Wi-Fi lets you message family at home or tell your hotel you are on the way.

Water and Refreshments

Bottled water and refreshments are on board, which helps after a long flight or a morning of Ziyarat.

Luggage Help at Both Ends

The driver helps load and unload bags at every pickup and drop-off, from hotel doors to airport kerbs and train stations.

English and Arabic Drivers

Online Umrah Taxi drivers speak English and Arabic and know the pilgrimage routes. Prayer stops are made on request.

Why Fares Differ

Why the Fare Changes With the Vehicle

Online Umrah Taxi charges one fixed fare per vehicle, not per passenger. The price depends on the vehicle you book and the route you take. It stays the same whether one seat or every seat is filled.

Fares generally rise with the size of the vehicle. From Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel, the Toyota Camry costs 240 SAR, the Toyota Hiace 350 SAR and the Toyota Coaster 400 SAR. The full airport guide is on the Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi page.

The three 7-seaters share the same seats and bag space, but not the same price. The Hyundai Staria is the lowest-priced of the three on every published route. The GMC Yukon XL and the Chevrolet Suburban are the VIP SUVs, and on some routes the Suburban costs more than the 11-seat Hiace.

For a group, one larger vehicle often costs less than several small ones. Seven pilgrims in one Hyundai Staria pay 290 SAR from Jeddah Airport to Makkah. The same seven would need two Camrys at 240 SAR each, so one Staria costs less and keeps the family together. The Hyundai Staria umrah taxi page compares the two.

Luggage and Zamzam

How Much Luggage Fits Each Vehicle?

The bag figures in the fleet table count large suitcases, the kind that travel in an aircraft hold. Hand luggage, backpacks and small bags come on top. A Toyota Camry takes 3 large suitcases, each 7-seater takes 8, the Toyota Hiace takes 14 and the Toyota Coaster takes 20.

A simple rule of thumb: count one large suitcase per adult, then compare the total with the bag column. If your suitcases outnumber the bag figure, move up one vehicle size. Four adults with four large suitcases, for example, outgrow a Camry and fit a 7-seater.

Pilgrims usually go home with more than they brought. Zamzam water, dates, prayer mats and gifts all need room on the ride back to the airport. Add every one of those boxes to your bag count for the last trip, not just your suitcases.

On the flight home, departing pilgrims can usually carry one sealed 5-litre Zamzam container bought at the official airport counter. Airline rules vary, so confirm the Zamzam allowance with your own airline before you fly. A container bought in town may not be accepted, so ask your airline before you pack one.

Give the team your real bag count when you book, including pushchairs, boxes of shopping or a folded wheelchair. The team then confirms that your vehicle fits everything, or suggests the next size up.

The Haramain High-Speed Railway limits baggage, which is one reason families with heavy luggage book the Makkah to Madinah taxi by road instead.

One 7-Seater for the Family vs Two Street Taxis

Street taxis and ride apps work well for many trips, especially for one or two people with light bags. For a family of 5 to 7, this table shows how one booked 7-seater compares with splitting into two cars, so you can decide for your own journey.

Pilgrim Reviews

What Pilgrims Say About Our Vehicles

Pilgrims rarely review the car itself, but they do mention space, luggage and a clean cabin. Those reviews come first, exactly as passengers wrote them.

Our driver met us right at Jeddah Airport and helped with luggage. The car was spotless and the fare exactly as promised. I’ll definitely use them again next Umrah.

Ahmed K., Indonesia

We booked our Coaster for a group of 15 pilgrims. Clean, comfortable, and arrived on time after Fajr. Great coordination through WhatsApp.

Hassan A., Nigeria

Smooth ride from Makkah to Madinah with an English-speaking driver. He even stopped briefly for prayer on request. Excellent service and value.

Fatima S., Pakistan

Booked a Ziyarah tour in Madinah. The driver knew every sacred site and gave us time to pray peacefully. Truly grateful.

Maryam R., UK

Very reliable and honest. My elderly parents travelled from Jeddah to Makkah without any issues. They felt safe the entire time.

Imran T., India

Easy booking on WhatsApp, fixed fare confirmed instantly, and punctual pickup. The best taxi experience we’ve had in Saudi Arabia.

Sara M., Bangladesh

Choosing a Vehicle

Choosing From the Fleet: Size and Seats

A 7-seater suits a family of 5 or 6: the Hyundai Staria, the GMC Yukon XL or the Chevrolet Suburban. The Staria has the lowest fare of the three, and the two SUVs are the VIP choice. With 5 or 6 aboard, you keep a spare seat for hand luggage.

A 7 seater umrah taxi is a private vehicle that carries up to 7 pilgrims and their luggage with a driver. In the Online Umrah Taxi fleet, the 7-seaters are the Hyundai Staria, the GMC Yukon XL and the Chevrolet Suburban.

A Toyota Hiace suits a group of 10, with 11 seats and room for 14 large suitcases. From Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel, the Hiace costs 350 SAR for the whole van. If the group carries a lot of luggage, ask whether a Toyota Coaster fits better.

The Toyota Coaster is the largest vehicle, with 17 seats and 20 large suitcases. Groups of more than 17 book several vehicles for the same pickup time. Each vehicle is charged its own fixed fare.

The GMC Yukon XL and the Chevrolet Suburban are the VIP SUVs in the fleet, each with 7 seats. They suit families, executives and small groups who value privacy. Their fares are higher than the Hyundai Staria on every published route.

No, each booking is private, so the whole vehicle is booked for your group. The fixed fare covers the vehicle, not single seats. You ride only with the people in your booking.

Luggage, Families and Fares

Luggage, Families and Fares: Your Questions

Each 7-seater in the fleet takes 8 large suitcases, plus hand luggage. That applies to the Hyundai Staria, the GMC Yukon XL and the Chevrolet Suburban. Tell the team your real bag count so the driver arrives with enough space.

Per vehicle: one fixed price covers the whole car, van or Coaster. A Toyota Hiace from Jeddah Airport to a Makkah hotel costs 350 SAR whether 6 or 11 people ride in it. There is no meter and nothing is added at the end.

Yes, children are welcome, and each child counts as one passenger. Share the children's ages in your WhatsApp booking message. Saudi road rules generally call for a child restraint for small children and keep under-10s out of the front passenger seat, so the team uses the ages to plan your seating.

Any vehicle in the fleet can carry elderly parents, and the driver loads and unloads every bag for them. The Hyundai Staria and Toyota Hiace models have a sliding side door. Tell the team on WhatsApp if a parent walks slowly or finds a high step hard, and they can suggest the vehicle that suits your family.

Mention the wheelchair in your WhatsApp message, and the team can suggest a vehicle for your group. Say what type of wheelchair it is and whether it folds. Count it in your luggage too, because it takes up bag space.

Yes, if you include Zamzam, dates and gifts in your bag count when you book the ride to the airport. The team then confirms that your vehicle has room, or suggests a bigger one. For the flight, departing pilgrims can usually take one sealed 5-litre container from the official airport counter, but check with your airline.

Message +966 56 323 2855 on WhatsApp, 24/7, or use the book umrah taxi online page. Send your route, date, headcount and bag count. Most rides need no pre-payment, and changes sent before pickup cost nothing extra.
